Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critically important to us. At Homely, we have a few fundamental principles:

• We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
• We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
• We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of one of our services.

Below is our privacy policy, which incorporates these principles.

Homely Service Limited (“Homely”) operates website homely.shopping (“Website”) and the Homely Mobile Applications (“Apps”). Website and Apps are collectively referred as “Channel”. It is Homely’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Homely Mobile Apps / Website Visitors

Like most owners of mobile applications and website operators, Homely collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that mobile apps, web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Homely’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Homely’s visitors use its mobile apps, website and services. From time to time, Homely may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

You may remain anonymous without providing your personal details during your visit to our website or Apps, and we would not be able to identify you unless you have registered an account (“Homely account”) with us on our website or Apps and have logged in using your user name and password.

Homely also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users, email address and mobile phone numbers to send parcel delivery status. Homely only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Homely’s websites choose to interact with Homely in ways that require Homely to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Homely gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a membership at our website to provide a username, email address and a mobile phone number. Those who engage in transactions with Homely – by purchasing credits for use on the Homely Transfer service, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Homely collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Homely. Homely does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Homely discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Homely’s behalf or to provide services available at Homely’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Homely’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Homely will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Homely discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Homely believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Homely, third parties or the public at large.

Homely takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information. We will securely destroy your Personally-Identifying Information when it is no longer needed for our retention purposes.

Newsletter/Promotional Materials/Marketing Materials

Homely may use your data in direct marketing upon your consent (which includes an indication of no objection) for that purpose. Homely may from time to time send to members of the Channels, by means of emails and/or short message service (SMS) notifications, newsletters, marketing and promotional materials and information regarding Homely or its third-party advertisers’ products, services and the like based on the data that you have provided to Homely.

Links to Third Party Websites

This Privacy Policy is only applicable to the use and disclosure of information we collect from and about you through the Channels and any other website or commerce solution on which this Privacy Policy appears. It does not apply to information collected directly by our partners, service providers or any other third party, even if their website links to our website and Apps, or our website and Apps links to their website. We do not control the privacy policies of our partners, service providers or other third parties. If you disclose information to any other party, different terms may apply to their use and disclosure of information disclosed to those third parties. Please

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Homely may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Homely’s sole discretion. Homely encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
